The name behind the spiraling success of Lakshmi Industries is that of PB Krishnamurthy, the 68- year visionary pioneer with a humble business background. Starting from scratch in 1963, it was his searing vision which led him to explore uncharted territory at a time when there was little technology or experience to go by. With dogged perseverance and devout determination he plunged into his dream of developing the first wet grinder using indigenous technology, and through an arduous process of trial and error, he succeeded. The rest, as they say, is history, or the stuff that legends are made of. He went on to develop new models with different capacities, all the time concentrating on product quality and high standards, it is his passion for innovation that has driven the company for the past 4 decades, enabling it to develop the perfect wet grinder, in terms of performance, convenience and compatibility. Today, this passion ion more than evident in his son, Ravi K who has inherited the tradition of innovation and furthermore, is taking it to greater heights with worldwide expansions.
